Great novel about home grown terrorism. Just when you think the case is solved it takes a new turn. The ending is a surprise and different from any I have previously read.
Henry Hack writes top-shelf police novels. The sense of realism is outstanding, making it apparent from page one that he knows police work from the ground up. I started reading Romen Society under the recommendation of one of Hacks' former associates from Nassau Co. PD. I look forward to reading many more.
I loved the story and loved following Harry Cassidy's life....All the characters are from the previous books and it is wonderful to follow what is happening in their lives....I can't wait to read the next one and see where it takes him....The story flows and you can't wait to see what happens next....Good Job Henry....keep it going
Full of surprises, this relatively new author has an excellent imagination, and uses his experience as a former police officer and detective well. I have enjoyed watching him as he gains experience as a novelist and with this book I feel he has reached the right to be called a great author. He builds his characters well and I was pleasantly surprised to find Danny Boyland appearing in this book to join with Cassidy and hope to see more of them in the future. I look forward to reading his next novel he describes as 14 stories about cops from the academy to their retirement. Sounds really great.
Really enjoyed the book by Henry Hack, have read the previous books and always looking forward to the next. Police books with great suspense written by a real cop. The topics of terrorism hits home and brings up some scary possibilities. On the human side, the brotherhood of cops working together to keep us safe should be admired and honored. This book would make a great movie.
Excellent plot, believable characters with something new always happening, I hated to put this book down. Very well written, great author! I will look for more of his books. Too many of the books I download have so many flaws, i.e., misspelled words, same descriptive words used over and over, characters are not interesting, the story so boring that I quit reading after the 3rd or 4th chapter. No so with this book, excellent excellent reading and surely holds your attention on every page.
